Sketch: Art for After Hours designs always begin with hand drawn sketches for client understanding, review, and approval to proceed. Here is the approved to proceed design for 'Collapsing Ramp'.
Process: The 3D chalk art portion hand drawn live.
'Visions of Cambodia'
Completed 3D dry chalk portion of the 4D installation project. The art work measured 30 feet wide by 40 feet deep and took a Art for After Hours team led by Anthony Cappetto three days to complete.
First use of 4D emerging technologies with 3D dry chalk art from 2011. #4disthenew3d
'Visions of Cambodia'
Process: Setup for running dedicated app running animated augmented reality models overlaid on the live street painting art event.
4D Installations - Immersive Murals
Immersive mural environments with multiple panels, two, three, four, or more encompassing the 4D emerging technologies of augmented reality, virtual reality, haptics, holography, virtual spaces, and more.

'Hangin on' : Field Public Interaction
Wendy Stum from the 4D team looking on with over 2,000 attendees viewing the interactivity with augmented reality overlaid on our live posing event with the immersive murals.
Our attendees not only viewed the blend of 4D tech but began to share their own user generated video clips of the AR experience across streaming social media. Art for After Hours is always thinking of the next evolution in our art form - talk to us for yours. #4disthenew3d
Animated Augmented Reality Experiences
Screen grab from our 'Hangin On' 4D installation with our attendees avoiding AR giant butterflies within the immersive effects of 4D. Models can be designed and animated such as they are as much a part of the art as our murals themselves. #4disthenew3d
'Asian Fusion' 4D Install with VR/AR Demo
An example of immersive as participation, the mural was designed to allow our attendees to be within the art and the culinary items around them. 4D demos were run with use of augmented reality, and a VR walkthrough as an interpretation of art through a dedicated app. Cappetto used chalk drawings of characters in a Chinese bowl model used for the AR design. #4disthenew3d
'Asian Fusion' 4D Demo VR/AR
Part of our experience involved allowing the public to participate using the dedicated app running a VR/AR toggle between a virtual walkthrough based upon our dry chalk piece on pavement. Here is one of the many people who put on glasses with our phone based app. #4disthenew3d
'Asian Fusion' VR/AR View Through the App
A view through the dedicated app as part of the Art for After Hours 4D demo in Greenville SC. Art for After Hours Founder Anthony Cappetto 'grabbed' the chopsticks on the AR portion of the toggeld display functions. #4disthenew3d
4D VR/AR Demo at Mark Conference/Rutgers
Bringing 4D to the Student Leadership conference event with simple demonstrations of virtual and augmented reality via a dedicated app. Students were able to see 4D imagery with the painted 3D murals for an immersive experience. Cappetto additionally gave a brief breakout discussion to students highlighting the demo experience, traditional street painting, and developments with 4D.

Many students posed upon the 3D piece wishing to be a part of the 4D installation. Background shows groups of students looking to see the 4D animated augmented reality model viewable through the dedicated app setup in front of the art. #4disthenew3d
4D at IIT Bombay: Immersive, interactive art
4D interactivity combining the students, the animated AR model robot, and the dry chalk art as one cohesive illusion differing from others. Many possibilities with 4D Installations - speak to us at Art for After Hours. #4disthenew3d
Completed main 3D street art exhibition piece by Anthony Cappetto as part of a week long workshop project in Montevideo, Uruguay sponsored by the U.S. Department of State for the US Embassy and the art faculty and students of the Universidad de La Republica. Cappetto gave lectures on 3D street painting and 4D emerging technologies with the art, appeared on local tv and radio programs to share the project with the public. Faculty and student projects at sides and beyond main 3D piece. #4disthenew3d
As a 4d demo, figurative, playful, professional vendor animations were added to the Montevideo piece to show the possibilities of AR interactivity with 3D dry chalk art. #4disthenew3d
